Yellow cloth boards with black line illustration stamped on front board. Titling in black to front board and spine. Head and tail of spine slightly bumped. Very minor soiling to boards. Small stain to front free end paper and some crinkling to front and rear pastedowns. Some creasing to lower corner of pages, near page gatherings. Ever so slight toning to pages. Spine cracked at some gatherings. Some soiling to dust jacket, primarily on rear panel. Small tear along bottom edge of front panel, with some edge wear overall. There appears to be a bit of red waxy residue along top of fold where panels meet inner flaps. Very Good in a Very Good dust jacket.

This is the fun story of Custard, a cowardly pet dragon, who shows his bravery by saving his owner from a wicked knight. Written in Nash’s characteristic humorous verse with bright illustrations.
