There seems to be several variants of the Subscriber’s Edition, and while priority is difficult to establish, or perhaps not exist, this copy in the buckram appears to be the First State of the Subscriber’s Edition. Cornelius explains that the difference may “reflect the consequence of Crowley’s practice of binding in batches.”
Crowley’s highly influential work where he presents magick as a disciplined, scientific method for harnessing the “will” to achieve transformation. Crowley outlines both the philosophy and the practical techniques he believed could align the practitioner with their true purpose.
