Small broadside advertising a Grand Auction Sale for “800 of the finest and most desirable building lots” from the Woolsey Estate in Astoria on Long Island, NY, described as “The Prettiest Spot in America!!” Black lettering printed on a thin, light brown sheet that has been folded in half both vertically and horizontally. An approximate 4.5cm tear running down vertical crease from top of sheet with a 2.5cm diagonal tear on right side starting at horizontal crease. A few nicks and creases along edges. Very Good.

Astoria, once dominated by Italian and Greek immigrants in the 1980s and 90s, is one of New York City’s most diverse neighborhoods. Its accessibility and proximity to New York City has always made it a desirable neighborhood, and this broadside made sure to highlight those characteristics to potential real estate buyers.
